Corpora
Research on language in Freiburg and Basel is unified by a strong focus on language corpora. A multitude of corpus-oriented research projects on language variation have generated a large amount of authentic language data which is the basis for many PhD projects at both universities. Many of these corpora are still being expanded. Please contact the individual corpus compilers for search options and modes of access. The corpora include:
